How to Make 1,000 mg CBN Oil from CBN Isolate (30 mL)

Make your own CBN oil (tincture) at home in about 15 minutes. This simple DIY recipe mixes 1 g of 98%+ CBN isolate into MCT oil to make a 30 mL bottle with about 980 mg of CBN — roughly 32.7 mg per mL.

What you need

• 1 g of 98%+ CBN isolate (about 980 mg CBN) — a 1 g pack is exactly right
• About 30 mL of carrier oil — MCT oil is best (thin, flavourless, absorbs well and keeps for about a year). Any edible oil works: olive, hemp seed, avocado or sunflower.
• A 30 mL amber glass dropper bottle and a small funnel
• A bowl of hot tap water (about 50–60 °C / 120–140 °F)

Steps: making a 30 mL CBN oil

1. Measure 1 g of CBN isolate and pour it into the empty bottle with the funnel.
2. Top up with MCT oil to the 30 mL mark, leaving a little room at the neck.
3. Cap tightly and set the bottle in the bowl of hot tap water for 5–10 minutes. Gentle warmth helps the crystals dissolve — never microwave, boil or use direct heat.
4. Shake well for about a minute. Repeat warming and shaking until the oil is completely clear with no visible crystals.
5. Let it cool, then label the bottle with the strength (980 mg · 32.7 mg/mL) and today's date.

How to dose your 1,000 mg CBN oil

Start low and go slow: begin with ¼ dropper (about 8.2 mg) once or twice a day. Hold the oil under your tongue for 30–60 seconds, then swallow.
