How to Make 1,000 mg CBC Oil from CBC Isolate (30 mL)

Make your own CBC oil (tincture) at home in about 15 minutes. This simple DIY recipe mixes 1 mL of CBC isolate into MCT oil to make a 30 mL bottle with about 1,000 mg of CBC — roughly 33.3 mg per mL.

What you need

1 mL of CBC isolate (about 1,000 mg CBC)
About 30 mL of carrier oil — MCT oil is best (thin, flavourless, absorbs well and keeps for about a year). Any edible oil works: olive, hemp seed, avocado or sunflower.
A 30 mL amber glass dropper bottle and a small funnel
A bowl of hot tap water (about 50–60 °C / 120–140 °F)

Steps: making a 30 mL CBC oil

Warm the syringe or jar in a sealed zip-top bag in the bowl of hot tap water for 5–10 minutes, until the CBC isolate is soft and flows.
Dispense 1 mL of CBC isolate into the empty bottle.
Top up with MCT oil to the 30 mL mark, leaving a little room at the neck.
Cap tightly and warm the bottle in the hot water for another 5 minutes — never microwave, boil or use direct heat.
Shake well for 1–2 minutes until the oil is an even colour with no streaks or blobs at the bottom.
Let it cool, then label the bottle with the strength (1,000 mg · 33.3 mg/mL) and today's date.
